OK! Magazine Royal Wedding flags.

OK! is famous for its coverage of the UK’s Royal Family so when Kensington Palace announced the engagement of Prince Harry to Meghan Markle, the team at the magazine wanted to do something special to mark the big day. Step forward Magazine Heroes!

Once the date was set, we worked fast to plan the distribution of 50,000 free, specially-designed OK! Union Jacks in central London and in Windsor itself.

On behalf of OK!, we secured the relevant permissions from the local authorities and liaised with event security to ensure that we could get the flags into the hands of every well-wisher attending on the day.  We handled all the logistics and deliveries, sourced the branded street furniture and uniforms and hand-picked the distribution staff for this very special occasion.

On site from 4am, we gave out all 50k flags, took a full gallery of photographs for OK! to use on social media and provided hourly updates to the client. Our work even made it on to TV screens with reporters interviewing our team members and OK! flags being seen repeatedly on BBC, ITV, Sky and other major news channels worldwide.
